Summer teams offer great opportunities to elevate your game.  Whether you look to play locally or a traveling team there is great advantages to receiving quality coaching and playing good competition. Each of those teams have different commitment levels and can vary in cost. Superior Varsity Lacrosse Senior, Brennan Morrissey, is making the most of his summer playing on Minnesota Loons Selects 2020 team. His team went 6-0 in Chicago and is currently enroute to play the Western Shootout in Colorado Springs, Colorado as they will open play against Denver Elite on Saturday. Following Colorado trip they will be traveling to North Carolina. Not all players have to travel to earn valuable training. Make sure to follow area programs as they each have clinics, so don't be afraid to go and try them out. It is just another way of putting a stick in your hands. You never know where this sport can take you and what it can teach.
